MECHANIC EXPLAINED
A wild can stand in for eligible symbols when a combination is evaluated. Some games add expanding or other wild behaviours.
Exiles Fortunes describes substitute wilds with exceptions. 20 Power Joker instead describes expanding Joker wilds on the middle reels.
Substitution exceptions and activation rules differ. A wild does not guarantee a win.
MECHANIC EXPLAINED
A special symbol whose count or placement can award a separate payout or trigger a feature under the game's rules.
20 Power Joker describes STAR and DIAMOND scatters with different position restrictions. In Exiles Fortunes, FS Scatters trigger Treasure Chase, rather than the separate free-spin mode.
Scatters do not always trigger free spins, and permitted positions may be restricted. A scatter-pay format is not the same as a special scatter symbol.
MECHANIC EXPLAINED
Qualifying symbols are removed and replaced within a sequence, creating a refreshed board that can be evaluated again.
Deck of Divinity removes qualifying matching cards and drops replacement cards into the board. Its pay-anywhere system is distinct from a special scatter symbol.
Removal patterns differ between games. Replacement symbols need not produce another win, and similar feature names do not establish identical rules.
MECHANIC EXPLAINED
A multiplier applies a numerical factor to a qualifying win or symbol value.
Exiles Fortunes describes per-spin multipliers in Gold Spin Wheel. Thunderkick separately names Mucho Multipliers in Esqueleto Explosivo 3; the shared term does not imply identical behaviour.
The factor applies only to amounts specified in the rules. It is not a prediction of results or the same thing as the game's maximum possible win.
MECHANIC EXPLAINED
An in-game feature awards a set of spins that can use rules different from the base game.
Thunderkick describes free spins with retriggers in Esqueleto Explosivo 3. Print Studios describes bonus spins and a changing deck in Deck of Divinity.
This is a game mechanic, not a casino sign-up offer. Triggers, retriggers and feature rules vary, and an award of spins does not guarantee winnings.
MECHANIC EXPLAINED
A feature retains collected symbols while a limited spin counter governs attempts to add further symbols.
Treasure Chase in Exiles Fortunes retains chests within each stage and resets its counter when a new chest lands.
Retention, counter resets and stage transitions are game-specific. Filling the board is not guaranteed, and a pick-and-reveal feature is not automatically hold-and-win.
MECHANIC EXPLAINED
Megaways™ is a proprietary slot mechanic created by Big Time Gaming and licensed to other studios. Its random reel modifier can change how many symbols appear on each reel from spin to spin, producing a variable number of ways to win.
Evolution describes the original six-reel implementation as allowing two to seven symbols per reel and up to 117,649 ways. Big Time Gaming's official catalogue identifies titles carrying the Megaways™ mechanic.
Megaways™ is a brand and mechanic, not a promise of a particular RTP, volatility or result. The precise reel layout, symbol heights and maximum number of ways depend on the specific game; 117,649 is common, not a universal guarantee.
